Slowing Down the Spacious Way
Cultivate ease and notice what happens to old limiting habits, resisting behaviors, and overwhelm when you stop rushing and make time for what matters
âWhat you cannot see in this world is far more powerful than what you can see⊠what is under the ground is more powerful than what is above the ground⊠what is invisible creates what is visible.â âT. Harv Eker
Perhaps youâre wondering, How can we slow down when everything in our world is about progress and speed?
And why would we even want to slow down when it might be so much more fun to travel in the fast lane?
Hereâs what I can tell you: so much is lost when we move at hyper speed. We cannot make vital connections. We cannot see what is holding us back. We cannot hear what our heart wants to tell us.
If we canât see it and feel it, we canât clear and heal it.
The moment we start slowing downâon purpose and with purposeâis the moment things start to open up and change.
So kick off your shoes and get comfortable. Weâre going to take a nice long ride in the slow lane this year. You may just discover one of the Spacious Wayâs best secrets: the less you rush, the easier it is to let go . . .
and flow. . .
and grow.â1

stopping rushing is an alternative to procrastination. I acknowledge what is legitimately calling me, and move with dignity toward the demands. Will they dissolve and reform into shapes I can work with? Let me see...
I recently got a case of Bali belly which has slowed me down immensely. And although itâs uncomfortable and challenging at times, Iâm also aware of what a gift it is, reminding my body to rest and slow down and just have some stillness for a bit. So I really resonated with this piece.
