I came upon this mural on my walk the other day. Drawn by the bold lines and blue color, I snapped a few shots and moved on.
It wasn’t until I studied the images later that I was pulled in — enlivened by the myriad possibilities that this random encounter with art had on me.
With those tubes coming out of the person’s head, a tube feeding into it, and those electrified eyes — good or not — you’ve got to admit there’s a lot going on.
And I went with it.
Whether intended or not by the artist, it got me musing about the power of the mind. Wonder questions like these…
What am I feeding my mind today?
How does my thinking affect what I see?
How about you? What, if anything, does this piece awaken in you?
What is the last thing you took a picture of that made you stop and think, and maybe even come alive?
You’ve got to love art when it sparks.
Ahhh 💙
Oh yes! What I feed my mind is so important to me. I can be all grumbles and think of all the stuff I have to do and in a flash I can say or think, wow! I GET to do this today and I start noticing all the beauty around me. Snow covered mountains as I drive to get my mammo today!
I see flashing eyes 🫣
