Thank you Mrs. Vogt. The first photograph reminds me of my late mother. She was an American History teacher at our high school in Florida when I was an early teenager. She instilled in me a love and appreciation for education and American History. She and several of her students even worked together and got Eleanor Roosevelt to visit the high school! Needless to say, I got to be excused from the nearby junior high, come over to the high school, and meet and shake hands with Mrs. Roosevelt. I have never forgotten that, nor could I. Mrs. R spent winters vacationing with family and friends in our area, so ergo the contacts. Made the paper next day, too. Very cool.

Love this quote!” Someone struggled for your right to vote. Use it.”
—Susan B. Anthony
I’m using my voice and vote today to vote for a woman who I know will help us heal this country with kindness and a strong to do list!
Beautifully said, Ruth! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I love that quote too.
