I like to sit on the back porch and breathe in the sea air. I'll take a cup of tea with me often. When I sit there the cats somehow know and come out from wherever they have been hiding and sit with me. Bliss
Some of my favorite slow moments are my times of connection with nature…watching the crows in my neighborhood have a chat or stopping to gaze at the moon while walking with a friend.
I fell in love with el DF/CDMX the first time I visited in the late 90s and moved there on a whim in 1998. I left in 2004 to Playa del Carmen and was there for a year before moving to Los Angeles. I will most likely be moving back to México next year! I grew up in El Salvador pero siempre digo que mi alma se cree mexicana ☺️
Walking to my car after my exercise classes, I have learned to enjoy the slow good life. Instead of rushing home, I often look up to see the geese flying in formation, squawking away as they “play” in the air until they finally decide to descend, gracefully alighting onto the lake.

Awww, that kitty love. They know how to bring it, don’t they? Thanks for sharing this sweet moment with us, Glynis.

Saludos á Mexico Stephanie!! Disfrutas tu viaje!
Gracias, Jeanine!
These moments is what I miss the most from living in México. Being carefree doesn't equate to laziness–es saber gozar de la vida.
Hola Ana. Well put! ¡Los mexicanos saben gozar! … When and where did you live in Mexico? I was born and raised in Mexico City, which is why I ask.
