I love this photograph of a family enjoying a spot of tea in the old city center of Oxford, England.
I’m sharing it today for no reason, other than it messes with my mind and tells some kind of fun story, or could be made into one.
What might that be?
The setting is a centuries’-old castle (read 1,000 years-old) turned prison.1
The window bumping out at an angle, makes the occupants look like they’re in a painting, or a fish bowl.
If you were to give this picture a story, caption, or tagline, what would it be? (You can see mine under the photos. 😉)
Let’s have fun with this.
Ahhh 🪟
In case you missed these…
According to their website, Oxford Castle and Prison goes back 1,000 years. Here’s what they say: “When William the Conqueror invaded England and won the Battle of Hastings in 1066, Oxford Castle was marked by the Normans as the ideal place for a motte-and-bailey castle. Norman baron Robert O’Doyly took it upon himself to build this castle. Over time, the site transformed from a castle into a prison. Today, after one millennia, Oxford Castle & Prison is a visitor attraction with a story to tell.”
