Hi all,
Talk about life in the slow lane. In a previous post I shared my triumph with reading. It only took me 68 years to get there, but I got there. You can read about my breakthrough here.
While I was searching for a photo or two to add, I discovered that I have a treasure trove of images on this subject — from libraries and bookstores, to writers and readers from around the world.
Also below is a sweet video that I made when Jay and I accidentally stumbled on the most extraordinary outdoor space in Chapultepec park in Mexico City. It’s a free hidden secret-garden kind of place for the public to enjoy a quiet respite from the noise and bustle of the outside world, with books you can borrow to read while you sit and relax.
I’ll let these images speak for themselves and transport you around the world. But first I’ll leave you with something to contemplate:
What are you reading these days? Is it something that is lifting your spirits? Is it serving your highest and best good?
Ahhh …📚

In case you missed it..
What a tour! Thank you. It’s so nice to see beautiful spaces.
